Teaching kids about the dairy industry is one of our priorities. Our Mobile Dairy Classroom is a traveling milking parlor, featuring a live cow and an oral presentation.

Mullet Competition

Show off your best business in the front and party in the back at the Anoka County Fair Mullet Competition! Join us Sunday, July 26 at 2:00 PM on the BandShell Stage for a fun, crowd favorite contest with a $500 cash prize.

Judges will be looking for the best overall mullet appearance, strong “business in the front” style, bold “party in the back” flow, creativity, confidence, and stage presence. Whether your mullet is classic, wild, curly, colorful, or full of personality, bring your best look and get ready to work the stage!

Contestants can sign up early online to reserve their spot. All contestants must pay gate admission to enter the fair. In person sign up will also take place at 1:00 PM at the BandShell Stage during the Diaper Derby.
