Liability Waiver, Release of Claims & Terms and Conditions
By registering for or participating in the Dog Match Fun Show at the Anoka County Fairgrounds, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Assumption of Risk: I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including personal injury, illness, death, injury to my animal, dog bites, interactions with other animals, and damage to personal property.
- Responsibility for Animals: I accept full responsibility for the behavior, handling, control, health, and safety of any animal I bring to the event. I am responsible for any injury, damage, or harm caused by my animal to other people, animals, or property.
- Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Anoka County, the Anoka County Fair, the Anoka County Agricultural Society, and their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from my participation or my animal's participation in the event, including claims involving ordinary negligence.
- Financial Responsibility: I agree to be responsible for costs, damages, and claims arising from my actions or the actions of my animal, including claims made by third parties, to the extent permitted by law.
- Compliance with Event Rules: I agree to follow all event rules and instructions provided by event organizers. I understand that organizers reserve the right to remove any participant or animal exhibiting unsafe behavior.
- Acknowledgment of Agreement: I acknowledge that I have read and understand this liability waiver. I voluntarily agree to its terms and understand that I am giving up certain legal rights by accepting this agreement. This waiver does not release claims that cannot legally be waived.
Required Registration Checkbox: I have read and agree to the Dog Match Fun Show Liability Waiver and Terms and Conditions. I understand that participation is at my own risk and that I accept responsibility for myself and my animal(s). I agree to release Anoka County, the Anoka County Fair, and the Anoka County Agricultural Society from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
